Jack Reynolds of Reynolds Group has joined Chicago Partners Wealth Advisors
I am pleased to share with you an exciting development resulting from detailed and careful planning and deliberation. I take great pride in providing conflict free investment guidance and personal attention to clients. I am ever vigilant in my search for the best resources, positioning me to provide sound advice in this evolving and complex world. I firmly believe that, in my dedication to advising clients, strengthening my business model will help me achieve client goals now and long into the future.
For those reasons, Reynolds Group, Private Investment Counselors, LLC (Reynolds Group) and Chicago Partners Investment Group, LLC (Chicago Partners) have formed a strategic alliance. Organizationally, Reynolds Group has merged into Chicago Partners effective January 31, 2021.
Chicago Partners is a SEC-registered investment advisor whose principles closely parallel Reynolds Groups’ beliefs in terms of client service, client experience, and investment counseling. Chicago Partners’ core competencies include serving high net worth families via its family office style management. The firm understands the role of a financial quarterback and the needs of clients with significant assets. It is well equipped to handle complex investment, asset protection, and legacy planning needs.
When Jim Hagedorn and Anthony Halpin founded Chicago Partners, they began with a vision of serving as the go-to financial resource for clients. The firm helps clients plan for each step on their road to long-term financial success -- from investment questions to planning for next-generation wealth transfers and everything in-between.
In 2002, Managing Partner Jim Hagedorn was recruited by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to lead their wealth management program for the Midwest region. There, he and Partner Anthony Halpin worked together to create excellent portfolios for PwC’s executive teams, leveraging their knowledge of portfolio creation and strategic tax planning.
In 2007, PwC exited the wealth management business. Jim and Anthony spoke with the PwC leadership team, arranging an amicable agreement where they would spin-off from PwC.
In 2008, Chicago Partners was born. Jim and Anthony, using their knowledge and experience in creating excellent tax-efficient portfolios, started Chicago Partners with the mission of serving their clients with distinction. Starting with 100 clients and $300 million under management, the founders entered the wealth management space.
Now, Chicago Partners has 1,000 clients and over $2.75 billion under management. Chicago Partners has been recognized as a Top 300 Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) by the Financial Times in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Chicago Partners still follows its original mission of serving clients with distinction, adding tax preparation and complete financial planning to create a one-stop wealth management solution for their distinguished clients.
My partnering with Chicago Partners will not affect the working relationship that I have with clients, as I will continue to fulfill clients’ investment counseling needs from my Cambridge office as a Partner of Chicago Partners. My partnership with Chicago Partners will help me expand my value proposition to clients and create a business continuity plan. It will be my privilege to work with such a wonderful team.
The Chicago Partners' team of 29 professionals is comprised of highly qualified and experienced individuals, covering a wide range of expertise in order to successfully optimize each aspect of each client’s wealth:
• Six Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Certified Advisors,
• Three Certified Financial Planners (CFP®) Certified Advisors,
• Two Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts (CAIA) Certified Advisors,
• Two Attorneys (J.D.), and
• Two Certified Public Accountants (CPA).
I am very excited to be partnering with Chicago Partners and know that going forward I will be able to do an even better job of helping clients achieve their financial goals.
As always, do not hesitate to call me directly if you have any questions.
If and when you consider getting help with any of the foregoing, or to learn more about Our Services, please give me a ring at (617) 945-5157, or shoot me an email at my new email address: [email protected].
I look forward to hearing from you, and in the meantime stay safe and healthy,
Jack Reynolds
