Tom joined Chicago Partners LLC in November of 2024.  Prior to joining Chicago Partners, Tom was  the co-owner and President of Borthwick Associates which was located in Burr Ridge Illinois.  Serving as a portfolio manager, Tom helped clients to navigate the volatile financial markets for  nearly twenty-four years.

Earlier in his career Tom served as a Vice-President for Goldman Sach’s in their Chicago office.  There he was involved in institutional research sales for the Midwest region.  As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Tom received his MBA in finance and BBA in both accounting and finance.  Additionally, Tom successfully completed the challenging CFA program in 1985.

Tom lives with his wife Paula in the Western Suburbs of Chicago.  Blessed with two daughters and five grandchildren, he enjoys attending many of their various sporting activities.  Saturday mornings during the summer are still reserved for getting together with his longstanding golf buddies.
