Managing Director Jim Burke is a financial strategist with a background in creating financial strategies for businesses & individuals. Jim joined Chicago Partners in 2018, bringing with him 25 years of financial markets experience in developing, implementing, & executing financial strategies across an array of industries.
Before joining Chicago Partners, Jim worked at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), & the SMW Trading Company, Inc. In 2000, Jim founded Burke Trading Inc. He now leverages his 25 years of experience to help high-net-worth clients create comprehensive financial solutions.
Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in history from Colby College. He enjoys spending time with his wife and six children and coaching girls’ lacrosse at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
