About the Role
We are a growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Client Services Associate to join our team in Chicago. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in wealth management while helping clients receive timely, accurate support.
This is a hands-on role supporting client onboarding, account paperwork, money movement, account maintenance, meeting preparation, and day-to-day service requests. You will coordinate closely with wealth advisors, operations team members, and custodians while learning how an RIA supports clients across the life of a relationship.
This is a fully in-person role based in our Chicago office, an environment we believe fosters faster learning and stronger collaboration for early-career professionals.
Introduction to the Role
What You'll Do
- Serve as a day-to-day point of coordination for client and advisor service requests, tracking each item through completion
- Prepare and process new account, transfer, money movement, beneficiary, and account maintenance documentation
- Collect required information and signatures, follow up on outstanding items, and coordinate with custodians and internal teams
- Maintain complete and accurate client records, contact information, notes, and workflows in the firm's systems
- Support wealth advisors with client onboarding, meeting preparation, follow-up tasks, and recurring service activities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients while handling personal and financial information with discretion
- Follow firm procedures and regulatory requirements, escalating questions or exceptions to the appropriate team member

Candidate Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field
- 0-2 years of professional experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Successful completion of the Series 65 examination is required on or before the employment start date
Optional Background
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or work experience in client service, financial services, or another professional services environment
- Exposure to the wealth management, RIA, brokerage, banking, or broader financial services industry
- Experience with a CRM or client workflow platform such as Salesforce, Redtail, Wealthbox, Tamarac, or Orion
- Familiarity with custodial platforms such as Schwab or Fidelity
- Exposure to client onboarding, account paperwork, money movement, or account maintenance processes
- Familiarity with AI tools and large language models such as ChatGPT or Claude
- Interest in client service within a regulated financial services environment
